Led by Jessica Lee, the project targets homebound older adults by developing remote virtual assistant device (VAD) setup and education materials and deploying the EngAGE Basic program. Phase I uses participatory design with a pilot group to refine materials; Phase II evaluates broader usability and adoption in Texas and California, including existing VAD users. The team will track feasibility, technology acceptance, and feature use to create infrastructure for scalable VAD delivery and custom programming that supports physical, social, and mental health.
