The Florida State University team, led by Principal Investigator Zhe He, is developing DeepCare, a suite of artificial intelligence–driven, non-pharmacologic interventions designed to improve the quality of life for older adults at risk of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD). The project integrates AI-tailored tools including brain training games, music, art, and chatbot interactions to promote cognitive engagement, social connection, and emotional well-being. Supported by a multidisciplinary team of researchers and clinicians, the initiative seeks to provide scalable, accessible strategies for maintaining cognitive health and preventing ADRD progression.
